When the front page posts an intriguing question that causes a HUGE amount of interaction in the comments and then I realize the next day that it's NOT the Question of the Day and I won't get a recap of the top 10 best answers.
Anyone else feel the same way? Is this just me?

The day is still young.

This used to be more common. The fact that it's coming back, to me, signals good things. This is discussion/debate for the sake of discussion/debate.

they already posted today's answers of the day and a new question of the day for tomorrow's answers

Yeah I know. And it was a great discussion.
I just wish there was a list that came out of it, or just a recap. It's a huge discussion that gained tons of interest.

What if you made yourself the arbiter of what came out of these discussions? Post a recap here. No one will stop you, and back in the days of Wert and Spinelli no one ever had the ability to post a real post about these things on Oppo like we do now.

I am little more bothered but how little content that wasn't user generated has been showing up lately. I have noticed a sharp decline in excellent articles and funny stories and a sharp increase in lists and user generated content. Its subtle, but its definitely in line with getting more viewers at the expense of unique content and character. Its the Camry effect .

It's the nature of the Blog-o-web. If something's huge, you're either in the thick of it -or- you come upon it too late and don't really feel like digging through 188 replies.
I like it here (and on Jalopnik, etc.) more than reddit or others because the chances of a particular item getting overblown are pretty small.

Not saying you have to, just saying if history is any indicator, they won't do it on the FP. =)

oh no I'm pretty sure you just gave me homework. lol
But I know they won't. I mean I could certainly do a re-cap, especially with how important classic cars are to me.
The only problem there is that I like the comprehensive AOTD because of the comments from the paid authors on here that are interjected. It's their perspective I would miss if I did it myself.

all I'm thinking is what WHERE the most overplayed classic cars?!

What really grind my gears is being six hours ahead of the US and always being on the site either way too early to see the question or way too late to contribute anything that gets read.

Yeah, I know, right?
I can't stand those fucking things. I hate them to their core.
Got stuck with one about a year ago as a rental and took it to a casino in Dusseldorf. Went into the parking garage and put the bumper against the wall. Floored it for like three minutes and filled the entire parking garage with tire smoke.
Security came out and asked us what we were doing. Told them it was rental and we would be done in a minute. They said "OK, no problem, we understand," and walked back inside.
